I’m happy that I have a new trip computer; the old one was screwed up by the sensors at traffic lights and would indicate a speed of 99.99 km/h for the duration of a red light. This really screwed up my stats.

I am much less afraid of a bus driver punching me than I am of a bus driver running me over. That being said, I have found that OC Transpo drivers tend to look out for cyclists rather than treat them as obstacles.

Congrats! I used to brag about the bicycle super-highway that goes straight to my work but they’ve not yet plowed it. Taking the roads to get downtown wouldn’t be as nice as Baseline.

I’m still going to wait for this weekend’s rain to wash away all of the salt before I ride my new bike for any real distance.
