{"id":42,"date":"2010-02-05T16:43:13","date_gmt":"2010-02-05T21:43:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bojnberry.ca\/~berry\/blog\/?p=42"},"modified":"2010-02-05T15:29:43","modified_gmt":"2010-02-05T20:29:43","slug":"the-ethical-dilemma-presented-by-amazonfail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bojnberry.ca\/~berry\/blog\/?p=42","title":{"rendered":"The Ethical Dilemma Presented by #AmazonFail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I would like to get <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bojnberry.ca\/~boj\/blog\/\">my lovely wife<\/a> a certain book that she is constantly taking out of the library then having to return it as, yet again, someone else requested it.\u00a0 It is one of those low production books that I haven&#8217;t been able to find anywhere in Canada.\u00a0 In fact, the only place (online) that I&#8217;ve found is Amazon.com.\u00a0 With the whole <a href=\"http:\/\/whatever.scalzi.com\/2010\/02\/01\/all-the-many-ways-amazon-so-very-failed-the-weekend\/\">hurly burly<\/a> going on now I&#8217;m less inclined to send them my money at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But wait,&#8221; you say, &#8220;aren&#8217;t you also punishing the author by not buying her book?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That, my friend, is where I&#8217;m getting dilemmaed.
