Day two of our reduced numbers went well, I managed to get a few good pictures of Owen with his new haircut. I have a lot of tidying up to do in the back yard so Owen and I made use of the morning shade to spend some time outside. Owen lasted about an hour before he got bored and insisted we go do something else.

There are some festively type things going on downtown, but I have been taking care of toddlers long enough to know that nothing on the schedule would be interesting enough for Owen to justify the trip. Instead, we went to Chapters to play with the Thomas set in the evening.

During the day, I managed to complete the toy organizing project. I am not sure if this will be any help whatsoever with keeping the house tidy, but it is worth a try. I feel like I accomplished something which is nice.

Weekends with just me and Owen (and the New Guy) are very different than when the whole family is here. We didn’t do a lot compared to how our usual weekend are. Mostly we stuck around at home and if we went anywhere we only ventured out once per day and we kept it to Kanata.
