A Medley of Extemporanea

Two down, several to go. I’ve decided I’m not going to review them publicly, since they’ve been around a bit, eh? Eh? Know what I mean? They have grown on me, though. I am reading The Fuller Memorandum by Charles Stross as my interstitial book, and, while I’m loving it (being a public servant/servant of the Deep Ones (or should I not tell you that? Too late, oops), the Laundry series really hits home on many levels), I find myself wishing it was shorter so I could start on The Dragon Reborn already.

If you’ve read the series already, there’s a (hopefully interesting) blog on tor.com of Leigh Butler’s WoT Reread. Warning: It assumes you’ve read the Jordan books already, IE up to Knife of Dreams. I’ll be reading it once I’m past that.

So there, book one is complete. I should have finished it two days ago, but there was always something stopping me. I’ll post an actual review later when I’m not so tired (that might mean sometime in 2026, but hopefully not!).

I’m going to cleanse my mental palate with Changeless by Gail Carriger before hitting The Great Hunt. Go Paranormal Romance!

Just found this on My Sweet’s phone. It’s from our trip to the UK last spring. I had  a pint of the Old Rosie while waiting to fly back to Zagreb, and it made the airport bearable.
